An Oakdale man has been indicted for allegedly stealing over $10,000 from a Commack bank while dressed as a woman.
George Swanton, 62, allegedly stole the money from a Teachers Federal Credit Union earlier in October.
Police say Swanton stole a van from a group home before hiding at the Bay Shore Inn.
Investigators say he spent the money on drugs and prostitutes.
Swanton was eventually arrested after phoning in a fake bomb threat to police.
