A naked man with a machete was arrested in a Lake Grove Costco parking lot Monday afternoon.
Police say Jose Amaya was waving the weapon at people outside the store on Middle Country Road.
The Bay Shore man then allegedly barricaded himself in the cab of a tractor-trailer and threatened officers with the machete.
Amaya, 37, was shot with a Taser and brought to Stony Brook University Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
