A Mastic man is accused of sexually abusing an underage girl.

According to police, the incident happened over the course of seven months in 2020.

Detectives say they were tipped off after receiving a complaint of a minor being abused by an adult male acquaintance.

Police tell News 12 the accused man is Edwin Josue Ordones-Ramos.

The 21-year-old is charged with a felony and one misdemeanor.
