Police say a man was caught red-handed stealing from a Ronkonkoma gas station.

Anthony Pittocco was arrested after he was allegedly seen drilling into the lock of a coin-operated vacuum.

The incident happened at the BP on Pond Road in Ronkonkoma Wednesday night.

Police say Pittocco has broken into and stolen from other vacuum and air machines at a dozen Suffolk gas stations in the last two weeks.
