condition after police say he was struck by a car in Wantagh.
Detectives say the
50-year-old man was crossing Jerusalem Avenue just after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday when
he was hit by a Mercedes Benz SUV heading east near Hawthorne Drive West.
The victim, whose name has
not been released by police, sustained head trauma and remains in critical
condition this morning.
The driver stayed at the
scene and is not facing any charges.
