Police: Man arrested for robbing Target store at Broadway Mall in Hicksville

According to police, the 33-year-old attempted to leave the store with merchandise he did not pay for.

An Amityville man has been arrested and is accused of robbing a store in Hicksville.

Detectives say Clayton Rhoden walked into the Target at Broadway Mall last night.

According to police, the 33-year-old attempted to leave the store with merchandise he did not pay for.

When loss prevention officers tried to stop him, police say Rhoden threatened them with a knife and ran off.

Rhoden was arrested shortly after.
