A Bay Shore man has been arrested after police say he drove drunk in the wrong direction and crashed into a car in Hauppauge.
Police say Marcus Cabrera was driving east in the westbound lanes of Vets Highway near Lincoln Boulevard around 11 p.m. Sunday when the incident occurred.
Police say Cabrera's car crashed head-on into a Mitsubishi Eclipse driving westbound.
Cabrera was taken to the hospital for serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Mitsubishi and his three adult passengers were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
Cabrera has been charged with DWI.
