yesterdayA Hampton Bays man was arrested on Friday night for causing a car accident while intoxicated, according to police.
Authorities say officers responded to the scene of the accident just before 5 p.m. on Old Riverhead Road East.
Police determined that the driver, 63-year-old Jozef Talik, was intoxicated and apprehended him.
No other information has been released.
