State police say a man was arrested for hitting a man in the face at a home on the Shinnecock Reservation.

They say 49-year-old Arnay Terry was found lying on the ground near shrubbery with a gun near him.

It happened around 1 a.m. Sunday.

Terry faces several charges, including assault.
