Police are investigating after a toddler was injured in a Mastic Beach home early Wednesday morning.

The home is located at the intersection of Pine and Church. Neighbors say there was a party at the house Tuesday night and they heard at least three arguments between midnight and 3 a.m. One neighbor says at one point he thinks he heard a child crying.

Police will only confirm that an 18-month-old girl was injured and transported to the hospital. They have yet to release any other information.
