Police say a homeless man has been arrested for robbing a teenager in Baldwin on Tuesday morning.
According to police, officers responded to Wings Over Baldwin on Grand Avenue for a male subject who approached a 14-year-old and displayed what appeared to be a knife while demanding money.
The 14-year-old complied, ran from the scene and notified police.
Police say Elwin Wilfred, 52, was located and placed into custody without incident.
No injuries were reported.
Wilfred is being charged with robbery and endangering the welfare of a child.
