Police say a Holtsville man is facing charges in connection to a fatal overdose of a Nassau County resident.

Detectives say Nicholas Mayfield was arrested during an investigation into the overdose Wednesday night in Uniondale.

News 12 has been told the 40-year-old was arrested without incident.

Police say Mayfield faces a slew of drug charges as well as endangering the welfare of a child.
