Firefighters in Rockville Centre had to be evaluated after a fire truck crashed into a building.

News 12 has been told the truck slammed into Master of Furniture at Rutland Avenue and South Long Beach Road.

Officials say the crew was responding to a call for an odor of burning at an area building.

Three first responders were transported to the hospital for observation and two civilians were transported for minor injuries.
