Police: Driver found covered in white powdery substance on LIE charged with DWI

Authorities say officers discovered Dorian Lewandowicz, of Illinois, slumped over the steering wheel with the car still in drive.

Police say a man is facing DWI charges after he was found covered in a white powdery substance in a car Saturday night on the Long Island Expressway.
They say officers discovered Dorian Lewandowicz, of Illinois, slumped over the steering wheel with the car still in drive. An officer was able to put the car into park a short time before 9 p.m. by Exit 46.
According to police, 25-year-old Lewandowicz failed a sobriety test.
Lewandowicz faces multiple charges, including criminal possession of a controlled substance.
