A Coram man was arrested Friday for allegedly stabbing his brother with a large knife.

Police say officers responded to 139 Sequoia Lane at approximately 8 p.m. after a 911 caller reported he was stabbed by his brother.

Police say after the stabbing, the home was set on fire.

According to police, the victim and his brother were taken to the hospital. Police say the victim is being treated for serious injuries.

Suffolk police say they arrested 29-year-old Victor Brown.

Police say Brown is charged with assault, menacing, criminal contempt and resisting arrest.
