Police: Centereach man fatally struck by car in Blue Point
According to police, Oscar Lopez-Machado was working on a car parked on the side of Kennedy Avenue near Pine Street Tuesday afternoon.

2h agoPolice say a Centereach man has died after getting hit by a car in Blue Point.
According to police, Oscar Lopez-Machado was working on a car parked on the side of Kennedy Avenue near Pine Street Tuesday afternoon.
The 44-year-old was then hit by an East Patchogue woman driving south.
The man died at the scene.
The 54-year-old driver is expected to be OK.
