2h agoThe body of a 37-year-old female was found Tuesday morning on the shore in Long Beach, police say.
According to police, Long Beach officers responded to a call about a body in the water near the Lincoln Boulevard section of the beach.
They say the woman was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The cause of death is not known at this time.
The Nassau County Police Department's Homicide Squad has taken over the case.
