A 35-year-old Bellport man died following a motorcycle crash on Saturday night in Mastic.

Police say Silvano Posadas was riding a Suzuki motorcycle on Mastic Road at around 8:45 p.m. when he hit a Toyota Matrix that was waiting to turn left at the intersection of Somerset Avenue.

Posadas was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities. The driver of the Toyota was uninjured.
