Five people were arrested Monday after a car crash in Baldwin led to a violent argument, according to authorities.

Police say they were called to McKenna and Milburn avenues early in the morning.

Upon arrival, they found a man with severe swelling and bleeding to his face.

An investigation determined that the victim and five males had been involved in an argument related to a car accident.

Authorities say the suspects punched the man multiple times during the dispute.

The victim was hospitalized and treated for injuries following the incident.

Police say 21-year-old Venguasty Zephir, 19-year-old Vuitton Watson and three teenagers are facing multiple charges.

The group is due in court on Tuesday, according to authorities.
