Police: 41-year-old man stabbed during brawl in Uniondale; arrest made

Authorities say the victim got into a brawl with 35-year-old Morris Porter around 8 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Golden Crest Jamaican Restaurant.

A man who was stabbed during an altercation in Uniondale is expected to recover, according to police.
Authorities say the victim got into a brawl with 35-year-old Morris Porter around 8 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Golden Crest Jamaican Restaurant.
The fight escalated when Porter allegedly stabbed the 41-year-old victim in his right arm, and on the right side of his neck.
Porter was located nearby a short time later. Police say he had blood stains on his cloths, and cuts on his face and hands.
Porter was charged with assault and possession of a weapon.
