Police: 3 suspects wanted in connection to pair of robberies in Elmont

Detectives say the suspects entered the Elmont Deli on Linden Boulevard just after 9:15 p.m. One suspect told the cashier he had a gun, and the group took money and tobacco products before leaving the store.

Three suspects are wanted by police in connection to a pair of robberies that occurred in Elmont Tuesday night.

Detectives say the suspects entered the Elmont Deli on Linden Boulevard just after 9:15 p.m. One suspect told the cashier he had a gun, and the group took money and tobacco products before leaving the store.

The suspects then ran into the BP gas station across the street. They stole money from the register and the lotto cabinet, according to detectives.

Authorities say the group took off in a getaway car with two other people inside.
