Police are searching for three men who they say robbed a gas station in Hicksville.

The incident happened Friday just before 11 p.m., but police released the new surveillance pictures Tuesday morning.

Detectives say a black colored Nissan Altima is the car they are looking for.

The car drove into the BP Gas Station on North Broadway, when one of the suspects inside the car went in to buy a lighter.

Police say a second suspect, who was not inside that car, walked in, shopped around and then went up to the employee behind the counter.

News 12 has been told he asked the clerk for something behind the register on the wall.

When the 21-year-old employee turned around to grab the item, detectives say the second suspect reached over the counter, grabbed the register and left the marker.

News 12 has been told a third suspect was with the Nissan outside.

All three got away.
