Detectives have identified the man fatally shot Sunday night in New Cassel.
According to police, the victim is 26-year-old Quaraan Williams, of Baldwin.
Police say they found Williams suffering from multiple gunshot wounds near a house on State Street after responding to a 911 call for shots fired.
Williams was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made.
