Police say two men were found dead in Lindenhurst on Monday after a suspected murder-suicide. News 12 is told officers responded to two separate scenes Monday in Lindenhurst just a few blocks away from each other.
According to police, they were called to the scene on Nevada Street just before 4 p.m. Monday. They say the 911 caller saw a man lying in the front yard.
Police say 66-year-old Marek Gusciora was found lying on the front lawn of his own house.
They say he was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene.
Then a little over an hour later, police say they found 69-year-old Augustyn Jedra dead in a car in a parking lot on Park Avenue in Lindenhurst just a few blocks away from the first scene.
