Police: 2 Patchogue smoke shop employees arrested for selling vapes to minors

J-Mart Smoke Shop worker Muhammad Saad and Wildboyz Smoke Shop’s Samantha Venetar were apprehended during a compliance check, according to police.

Two smoke shop employees accused of selling vapes to minors were arrested Friday in Patchogue, according to police.

Authorities say J-Mart Smoke Shop worker Muhammad Saad and Wildboyz Smoke Shop’s Samantha Venetar were apprehended during a compliance check.

Both were charged with unlawfully dealing with a child, police say.

Around 1,000 vape cartridges from Wildboyz Smoke Shop and 400 cartridges from J Mart Smoke Shop were seized by officers.

Authorities say Sefa Genckurt, an employee of Wildboyz Smoke Shop, was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
