Police say a 15-year-old girl was trick-or-treating when she was struck by a car Thursday in Ronkonkoma.
They say 15-year-old Kayla Graith, of Ronkonkoma, was crossing the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Ontario Street when she was hit by a Honda Civic Thursday around 6 p.m.
The girl suffered serious injuries, but police say she is now in stable condition.
News 12 has been told the driver of the car stayed at the scene. The driver was also taken to the hospital for evaluation.
