On top of clearing the roads, one plow took on an extra job of trying to save a cat in Suffolk County.

Animal advocates waved down the driver as they were treating the roadways in Deer Park on Monday.

There was a stray cat stuck inside the storm drain, and rescuers couldn’t get into it on their own.

LI Cat/Kitten Solution tells News 12 the plow stopped to lift up the heavy grate.

The cat did not come out at first but was lured to safety with the help of food overnight.
