Oyster Bay students honor pope with parade

Children in Oyster Bay threw a papal parade to welcome Pope Francis to New York. Children at St. Dominic's Elementary School in Oyster Bay carried signs and drawings to show their respect and honor.

Children in Oyster Bay threw a papal parade to welcome Pope Francis to New York.
Children at St. Dominic's Elementary School in Oyster Bay carried signs and drawings to show their respect and honor.
The young students paraded through the streets and along church and school property.
Christopher Hilepo, a student at St. Dominic's, says his older sisters were chosen in a lottery to see the pope.
"They're excited that they're going to have this wonderful experience to see the pope," says Hilepo.
