It's been a busy couple of days for Wantagh native
Andrew Capobianco – that’s what
happens when you win a medal at the Olympics.
Tuesday was the final stop of his two-day celebratory
tour of Long Island. He visited his
old neighborhood and saw friends and family. Everyone wanted to see the silver
medal for themselves.
Capobianco says there were even some eager passengers on his flight
home from Tokyo.
“I was on the plane ride home and it was getting
passed around the airplane and at one point I didn't know where it was…I'm just
glad I could share it with other people,” he says.
