Officials say over a dozen boats searched Tuesday for a missing fisherman who vanished from a commercial fishing boat on Long Island's South Shore.
The Coast Guard says the Massachusetts-based boat, the "Miss Shauna," was about 30 miles south of Montauk Monday afternoon when a crew member failed to show up for a scheduled shift.
It is believed the 55-year-old fell overboard without a life jacket.
