Officials: Medford man receives 25 years to life in prison for murdering ex-girlfriend
Wayne Chambers was found guilty last year of stabbing Sandra McIntosh more than two-dozen times in a wooded area in Holtsville in 2021, according to officials.

Officials say a Medford man was sentenced to 25 years to life behind bars for murdering his ex-girlfriend on Thursday.
Wayne Chambers was found guilty last year of stabbing Sandra McIntosh more than two-dozen times in a wooded area in Holtsville in 2021, according to officials. Chambers had picked the McIntosh up from work.
McIntosh died two hours after the attack. Chambers was later found in the Bronx by police.
Prosecutors say McIntosh’s blood was found in his car.
