The Town of Oyster Bay has announced that repairs on the Hicksville parking garage will begin on Sept. 12.

The repairs will close the facility temporarily; it is expected to reopen before 2019.

The Town says that addition parking will be available at the former Sears parking lot. That lot will require a Town of Oyster Bay parking permit.

Shuttle buses will be provided from the lot during the morning and afternoons, Monday through Friday.

Repairs at the lot will include the replacement of concrete decking, crack repairs, drainage improvements and better lighting and security systems.
