The NYPD provided an update related to the police-involved shooting at the Sutter Avenue station in Brownsville at One Police Plaza on Wednesday night.
NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell said the two officers involved in the shooting had two separate encounters, just 10 minutes apart, at the train station on Sunday.
He added the incident himself lasted two minutes and 26 seconds.
The body cam footage of the incident is expected to be released in the next few days.
