The man accused of killing his estranged wife at the bagel shop she owned pleaded not guilty Monday.Robert Anderson, 66, is charged with second-degree murder for the death of his wife, Ann Anderson. Prosecutors contend Robert Anderson was seeking revenge because the victim was recently awarded ownership of their two bagel stores in their divorce. Anderson was killed on May 25 at the Super Bagel shop on Wall Street in Huntington. Suffolk police say Robert Anderson admitted he knew that his wife didn't lock the door of the store and he went in to discuss their assets. He told detectives that he became enraged, shot her in the side and then stood over her and shot her in the head.Police said the Andersons were still legally married and had no legal separation agreement, but were not living together. Ann Anderson had an order of protection against her husband, but the order did not include the bagel shop where she was found dead.
