Police on the North Fork are investigating after two grenades were found in Calverton.
The incident occurred yesterday near the Peconic River on River Road.
News 12 has learned that one of the devices was a training grenade and the other was a smoke grenade.
The bomb squad says it plans to detonate the grenades soon.
