The MTA says LIRR customers can anticipate cancellations and delays on most lines this morning due to a downed tree on the tracks near Kew Gardens.

Eastbound Main Line trains are currently bypassing ‌‌Woodside‌‌, ‌‌Forest Hills‌‌, and ‌‌Kew Gardens‌‌ due to a downed tree on the tracks east of Kew Gardens. Westbound Main Line trains will start by passing Kew Gardens, Forest Hills and Woodside at 6 a.m.

The ‌‌Port Washington Branch‌ is unaffected. The subway is honoring LIRR tickets at Grand Central-42 St.‌‌ and ‌‌61 St-Woodside‌‌‌ on the 7 line ‌ ‌34 St-Penn Station‌‌‌, ‌‌Forest Hills-71 Av‌‌, ‌‌Kew Gardens-Union Tpke.‌‌, and ‌‌Sutphin Blvd.‌‌
