New bike sharing program coming to Suffolk County next month

The program will allow Suffolk to launch the system next month, with 100 bikes and 24 stations throughout four Suffolk communities.

Sharing a bike around the Suffolk County will become easier in the next month.
Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone is going to announce a sponsorship of the Suffolk County Bike Share program later today, sponsored by the Bethpage Federal Credit Union.
The program will allow Suffolk to launch the system next month, with 100 bikes and 24 stations throughout four Suffolk communities, including Patchogue, Babylon and two other communities to be determined.  
Officials participated in an inaugural ride from Patchogue train station to the Mascot Dock to celebrate.
