A Nassau County legislator is suing the Town of Hempstead over campaign signs that were removed from in front of his office in June.
Legislator Carrie Solages says a town employee was caught on surveillance video removing the sign from in front of Solages' office in Elmont.
A police report was filed. The Town of Hempstead says it takes these types of allegations very seriously and is opening an investigation.
