Remsenburg road rage suspect accused of threatening driver with crowbar

A 64-year-old man accused of a road rage incident in Remsenburg was arrested on Saturday.

Southampton police say they were called to the scene just after 2:30 p.m.

The investigation revealed that Victor Verenitch had threatened another driver with a crowbar.

No injuries were reported. Verenitch was apprehended and brought to police headquarters for processing.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Sunday morning, according to authorities.

The charges against him include menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
