Some New Jersey counties are already in preparation mode in anticipation of possible snow this weekend.
Morris County officials told News 12 they have plows on standby and have enough salt in a silo to treat 300 miles of roads across the county.
“We have to make sure trucks are ready to go,” said Jeff Paul, director of the Morris County Office of Emergency Management. “Plows are on, ready to go. Everyone will be out on roads and people will be in a position to make sure the roads can be treated."
County officials added they will likely make more decisions on how many crews to activate Sunday after getting more forecast information on Saturday.
