News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Jake Dolinger says there will be a mix of sun and clouds with seasonable temperatures on Monday across Long Island.
NEW: Much of the Island saw some much-needed rain Saturday night, which should help with dry conditions.
NOW: A sunnier end to the weekend with cooler temperatures overnight.
NEXT: Temperatures will be seasonable to seasonably cool through the workweek. Temperatures could be quite a bit below average by the end of the month.
FORECAST
OVERNIGHT: A few clouds. Cooler. Lows in the mid-40s. Winds west to northwest 10-15mph.
MONDAY: A mix of sun and clouds. Highs near 60, lows in the 40s.
TUESDAY: A few clouds. Slight late day shower chance. Highs near 60, lows in the 40s.
WENDESDAY: Turning cloudier. Highs in the upper-50s, lows in the 40s.
THURSDAY: Unsettled with more clouds and rain. Cool with highs in the 50s.
FRIDAY: Wet and cool. Highs in the 50s, lows in the 40s.
