The New York Mets drafted two Long Island natives Thursday night.
The team took Justin Dunn, of Freeport, with the 19th overall pick in the MLB draft. The pitcher out of Boston College can throw a fastball at nearly 100 mph.
Also, the team took left-handed pitcher Anthony Kay, of Stony Brook, with the 30th overall pick.
Kay went to Ward Melville High School.
