Massapequa elementary school closing for 2 days due to new COVID-19 case

A Massapequa elementary school will be going virtual for the next two days.
In a letter to parents the superintendent says a third student who attends the Fairfield Elementary School has tested positive for coronavirus.
As a result, the school will be closed to in-person learning today and tomorrow for cleaning.
The letter says the student was last in the school Monday and anyone in close contact will be notified.
