The Marines kicked off the Toys for Tots program at the Nassau Coliseum on Tuesday. 

Those who want to take part in the holiday giving season can donate a new and unopened toy for a child. 

Donations will be accepted on Dec. 4 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Nassau Coliseum.

So we were there yesterday watching them decorate some of the trees and a pretty good event there and you can see the clear skies there right now. Rich, we're looking at dry conditions in Stony Brook Village Center right now. It is 41 degrees. A little bit of a wind wind chill right now at 34 degrees and dry conditions. Riverhead right now, sun's going to rise up over this tree which is right near old country road, sunny skies this morning, the clouds are coming in during our afternoon hours and going throughout our day. It's going to have that chill, especially with the clouds coming in during your afternoon hours. So outside this morning, we're at 38 in Huntington, 39 in Smithtown, 39 Riverhead. 42 degrees. Right now in Montauk. A bit of a wind wind chills are in the lower thirties in Elmont out the door this morning, kids at the bus stop 39 degrees trying to get to the train platforms out the door. The work, it's cold now this afternoon, 44 degrees. But now the clouds come in and it's going to have a chill to the air with the cloudy skies and a little bit of a wind west northwest at around 5 to 15 MPH. Quiet weather this morning, roads are dry and just like yesterday, clouds come in during the afternoon. But what is different from yesterday, the temperatures yesterday near 55 degrees today, look around 245. Well, right around 41 to 42 degrees, we top out to a hyperlocal high today of 44 degrees. Mostly cloudy skies during your afternoon hours tonight, mostly cloudy temperatures are dropping down into the lower thirties towards the morning hours of Wednesday and Thursday, temperatures will be in the upper twenties to low thirties. So colder weather in the next couple of days. Now, we do see a warm up back to the fifties and it comes over the weekend. But here come the clouds and some rainy weather conditions on your Sunday, it develops late morning into the afternoon, evening hours. And right now it looks to be done early on Monday morning, we'll have the wet weather and the gusty winds back here at home. Today, we're looking at temperatures in the forties, sunshine this morning, clouds this afternoon for tonight. Mostly cloudy skies. Lows are in the lower thirties and take a look at your extended forecast. Cold weather for the start of Hanukkah. A high of only 4050 by Friday fifties over the weekend. Saturday looks great and then the showers coming in on Sunday, breezy, wet weather conditions. 59 Sunday afternoon.
