2ds agoA man accused of attempting to kidnap a child at a Bay Shore mosque has pleaded not guilty.
Prosecutors say 39-year-old Nelson Priester lead a 4-year-old boy away from a prayer service at Masjid Darul Quran in August.
He took the child into a basement kitchen and barricaded the door, according to authorities.
The child was not hurt.
