A man was shot and injured as he sat in a car parked in a restaurant parking lot in Huntington Station early Saturday morning.
Police say 39-year-old Francisco Palma, of Farmingdale, was struck in the arm when two shots were fired in the rear parking lot of Melissa Restaurant on New York Avenue. The incident happened around 1 a.m.
Palma was taken to Huntington Hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
No arrests have been made.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
