A Coram man has been arrested for allegedly robbing a
woman at knifepoint and stealing her car.
Suffolk police say the victim was sitting in her car in
her driveway on Teller Avenue a little after midnight on Saturday.
Police say 22-year-old Diorgenis Cruz-Torres smashed the
driver's side window with a hammer and threatened the woman with a knife.
Police say Torres then drove off in the stolen car.
Police were able to track the vehicle to Manhattan,
through the victim's cellphone.
Torres now faces felony robbery charges.
