The owner of a medical supply company in Brownsville has been arrested for allegedly stealing millions of dollars from Medicaid.

The New York attorney general's office has charged Nduka Lewis Ekpenyong of using the stolen $2.5 million to buy luxury cars and pay the mortgage on his Long Island mansion.

The 36-year-old man is accused of submitting 6,000 false claims to Medicaid through his Brownsville company Duke's Medical Supply. He faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
