A Hampton Bays man is accused of driving drunk and barreling straight through a construction zone.
The incident happened on the Long Island Expressway east of exit 64 Monday afternoon.
Detectives say Michael Pelosi's Nissan went through a coned-off area and onto the shoulder.
Fortunately, no one was hurt.
