Several Long Island families torn apart by fentanyl advocated Monday for national change.
They are pushing for the passage of the Fend Off Fentanyl Act. The bill, which was introduced in 2023, would sanction the trafficking of fentanyl into the United States.
The potential legislation was most recently heard in a Senate committee. It has not gone up for a vote yet.
